From the familiar glow of our ‘Blue Marble’ to the shimmering edge of the Event Horizon, join us for a symphonic odyssey through the mysteries and majesty of the stars.
Doors open at 7pm.
Following our landmark bicentenary, the Vernon Building Society Poynton Brass Band presents an evening of music on a symphonic scale: 'Echoes of the Cosmos'.
This concert is designed as a curated musical narrative, charting a course from the familiar atmosphere of Earth into the vast, star-dense clusters of the deep Milky Way, eventually arriving at the paradoxical edge of a black hole - the Event Horizon.
The programme captures the awe of the infinite through some of the most powerful works in the classical and brass catalogues.
