The only way is up!

The band took to the stage on Sunday 23rd February at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool for the annual North West Area Contest. Led by musical director Tom Hillary.

Difference of musical tastes

The band unfortunately placed last in the Second Section this year. While that's never the result we had hoped for, there is sometimes a difference in musical tastes between a band's approach and the adjudicator's perspective. After a performance that the band was truly proud of, and one that certainly stunned some in the audience with its alternative approach, we have to accept the outcome and move forward.

What now?

The spirit within the band remains incredibly high. We are a group that thrives on challenge, and if one thing's for sure, it's that the only way is up from here! We'll be taking on board any constructive feedback and channelling our energy into preparing for our next performances.
