A Triumphant Return - 10 Years On
It's been a decade in the making! On Friday 13th June, the band made a triumphant return to the iconic Whit Friday contests, a full 10 years since we last competed. Led by our new Musical Director, Joey Wong, the band tackled 8 contests throughout the day, proving that our passion as strong as ever.
Tameside
Our journey began in Tameside, where we competed in seven contests. The energy was electric, and we are thrilled with the results. Here is a quick rundown of our positions:

Highlight of the Day: Best Second Section Band
The highlight of the day was our fantastic performance at Stalybridge Celtic, where the band placed as Best Second Section Band! This victory was a testament to the hard work and dedication of every single band member. The £200 prize money was a fantastic bonus, and it proved that with the right direction, our band is ready to achieve top-tier results.
Saddleworth
We capped off an incredible day in Uppermill, where we competed in our final contest.

The village was buzzing with crowds lining the street, creating an incredible atmosphere as we marched past. It was the perfect way to cap off a truly memorable return to the Whit Friday contests.
